HSBC Trinkaus - School Project
HSBC Trinkaus promotes the voluntary commitment of its employees. The topic "Youth & Education" is treated with special attention.
Economic knowledge is an essential skill in today's modern society. This is valid for both private- and working life. Economic education reinforces the understanding of the alignment in economy and conveys the knowledge that nobody can escape from the logics of economy. But pupils of general educational schools are not equipped systematically with a general knowledge of economy.
Within our school project we encourage our employees to provide pupils with their know-how in economy. The aim of this project is a long-term cooperation with the schools, which is supposed to offer the opportunity to outline economic coherences, to discuss current economy-related topics and to spotlight environmental subjects.
Our offer:
- Professionals in class - Employees of our company either give a lecture or lead a discussion to specific, class-oriented financial topics, which can be individually adjusted.
- Events series "Economic know-how for teachers" - Three or four times a year we invite interested teachers to our series of events. The topics discussed can be chosen individually by the schools or the teachers.
- Special events - Individually designed workshops, tours, etc. are developed with each school
